Grove House buildingGrove House in Waverley Road, St Albans, leads the way in supporting local people living with cancer or life-threatening illness.
Grove House believe everyone who needs it has the right to access specialist care to have the best quality of life.  The hospice supports patients and their families living in the Hemel Hempstead, St Albans and Harpenden areas.
Grove House must fundraise 80% of its total income to continue to provide its wide range of existing services and to develop new ones.  This year Grove House will be launching a brand new service for St Albans to provide 24 hour Hospice at Home care.

Grove House is proud to be able to:

  • Support patients with life-threatening illnesses such as motor neurone disease or chronic heart disease as well as cancer.
  • Help cancer patients right from the time of diagnosis (or even pre-diagnosis) through to the end-stage of illness.
  • Be there for the patient’s family and friends, providing respite, therapies and counselling.  Supporting them at a time they may feel overwhelmed and anxious.
